Theatre
Lincoln School is very proud of its modern and spacious amphitheatre. With a capacity to seat 200 people, it is used frequently throughout the year for plays, assemblies, presentations, classes, and other activities. The theatre is equipped with a stage, curtains and backdrops, and a sound and light system which was upgraded in 2009.
Lincoln School is located on a beautiful campus located in the Rabi Bhawan area of Kathmandu. It’s outdoor facilities include a basketball court, a sports field, outdoor eating areas, the adventure playground for elementary, a preschool playground, a small tuck shop for snacks, and luscious gardens and vegetation throughout the campus.
We are very proud of our large gymnasium. It is equipped with modern basketball facilities, bleachers for observing games and practices, an amazing array of gymnastics and sports equipment (box horses, gymnastics mats, spring boards, balance beams, a climbing wall, climbing ropes, etc.). It is used by all grade levels for physical education classes, after school activities, and sports programs.
Lincoln School offers optional transportation service to students. Our 20 buses are equipped with radio transmitters which are monitored by our control center at the school. They are air conditioned, and provide smooth, efficient and safe service to all of our students. When young children are riding the bus, a monitor also rides with them to ensure their safety while getting on and off, and riding the bus.
The Health Office is located at the side of the Sports Field and is staffed during school hours by the School Nurse and Health Office Assistant. The Health Office includes a small reception and treatment room, an office area, utility room, a room with two beds for ill students to rest while waiting to be sent home, and a toilet. Additional first aid supplies are located at locations throughout the school and on the school buses. An automated electronic defibrillator (AED) is stored in the Front Office for easy access at all times.

Lincoln School is very proud of its classroom facilities. All of our classrooms are bright, spacious, and very comfortable for our students. In the winter time they are heated, and cooled in the early summer by overhead fans or air conditioners. All of our classrooms are earthquake resistant, and also have a Public Address (P.A.) system. Each classroom has a computer work-station for the teacher, as well as the latest modern facilities for teaching. Have a look for yourself!

The main objective of Lincoln School’s Library is to provide a wide range of material at varying levels of reading ability, with diversity of appeal and presentation of different points of view, to meet the needs of the students and teachers.
Information literacy skills are an integral part of the library program.
