In grade 8 Health and Physical education, students worked on a cooperative games unit. This unit is designed to improve a variety of transferable skills, such as communication, helping our students to be more comfortable around their peers and others, and developing their leadership skills. In this activity, they designed a basic obstacle course, while keeping in mind potential health and safety risks. They were then tasked to verbally communicate with their peers in a concise manner so that their blindfolded teammates can traverse the course safely!
