Lincoln National Swimmers Dazzle in Virtual Meet
The Anglo American School of Moscow hosted a virtual swim meet recently and invited Lincoln to enter. A select group of national-level swimmers were up against some of the biggest international schools in Europe and Asia and produced amazing results.
Nasir won the 13-14 boys 200 free, breaking the school record in a time of 2:02.90, while Alex placed 2nd in the 17-18 boys 200 free.
In the 50 free, Aaditya took home gold in the 15-16 boys category in a time of 25.50, while Alex took silver in the 17-18 boys category in a time of 24.3.
Aaditya swam to silver in the 15-16 boys 100 backstroke in what would have been a SAISA record time of 1:01.88, while Tisa S claimed bronze in the 17-18 girls 50m breaststroke.
The swimmers did an amazing job in the 100 Individual Medley sweeping gold medal finishes in the 13-14, 15-16 and 17-18 categories respectively. Nasir once again broke school and SAISA marks with a time of 1:04.03; Aaditya swam in a time of 1:04.70, while Alex won in a time of 1:03.70.
Nasir won the 200 IM with what would have been another SAISA record of 2:18.82, while Priscilla earned silver in the tough 100 fly event.
Nasir broke school and conference records again in the 100 fly with a time of 1:03.17, while Aaditya won gold in the 15-16 age group with a time of 1:02.56.
In the 13-14 girls 100 free, Priscilla won another bronze, while Nasir won gold yet again. In the 17-18 boys, Alex broke the school and SAISA mark, winning silver with a time of 52.91.
In the 50 fly events, Nasir broke the conference record, earning silver with a time of 28.32, while Aaditya won gold in the 15-16 boys with a time of 27.04.
Tisa S won bronze in the 100m breaststroke, while both Aaditya and Alex earned silvers in their respective age categories in the 50m backstroke.
In the last and longest event of the virtual meet, Nasir added to his collection of golds with a school record 4:23 in the 400 freestyle.
