PLUM Peer-to-Peer Lessons Promote Menstrual Health and Hygiene

PLUM is a student-led organization that promotes menstrual health and hygiene in Nepal. Last month, PLUM visited Kuleshwor Secondary School and delivered a lesson on menstrual health and hygiene to 14 sixth-grade students. At the end of the lesson, the team distributed PLUM Kits to each student and demonstrated how to use the eco-friendly menstrual hygiene products. This was PLUM’s first lesson inside Kathmandu valley in 2023. The team looks forward to empowering more young women nationwide through menstrual hygiene awareness and education.
