Savoring Culture: A French & Spanish Food Journey

Our French and Spanish classes recently hosted a cultural food potluck, celebrating the rich flavors and traditions of French and Spanish-speaking countries. Students shared how to prepare their chosen dishes—ranging from quesadillas and taco bowls to crème caramel and pommes aligot—while diving into the history, cultural influences, and fun facts behind each one.

Beyond cooking techniques, students explored the connections and unique differences between cuisines, deepening their appreciation for the cultures they study. It was a delicious and lively afternoon, and we hope it inspired our young chefs to keep exploring, cooking, and discovering new tastes!
