Riding the Rapids: Grade 11’s Unforgettable Service Nepal Adventure
From setting up camp to conquering rapids, our Grade 11 Service Nepal trip was all about teamwork, adventure, and unforgettable memories. Rafting down the Sunkoshi River, each rapid brought excitement (and a little panic), and whenever the freezing water hit us, we all screamed, “Aachuu Chisoooo!” Off the river, we bonded over card games, laughed over endless ramen cups, and shared stories by the bonfire, mostly horror tales. Each night, we gathered around the campfire to reflect on our day, sharing the highs and lows while enjoying dinner. We also contributed to environmental research by testing water quality and creating art projects that highlighted the beauty and challenges of the river ecosystem. On Thursday, we celebrated Holi by dancing, and throwing colors at each other. This experience brought us closer as a class and left us with memories we’ll never forget.
