Grade 12’s Final Service Nepal: Adventure, Friendship, and Lasting Memories

On our final Service Nepal trip, we embarked on a 6 day adventure with our service partners for 25 years–Borderlands! We began our time doing team building activities with the students from Bachaladevi School. For the next two days, we used these new friendships to collaborate in planting a garden of cash crops for our partner school. On Thursday, the real adventure began when we completed some Ropes Course activities in the morning, and then learned to Rappel in the afternoon. On Friday, we used our new Rappelling skills and went canyoning on “Big Jumbo” which ended with a 45 meter drop! On Saturday, we made our way back home by way of water rafting and a final bus ride. It’s hard to believe this is our last trip together, but the memories we made will last a lifetime!
