Grade 1 and Grade 5 Celebrate Literacy Week!

Tuesday morning, Grade 1 and Grade 5 buddies got together to celebrate Literacy Week! The Grade 5 students taught their buddies how to record their thinking on post-it notes while reading. Students worked together to read and reflect, writing down thinking about characters, making connections, and making predictions. It was also fun to see each other’s book character costumes!
