Julie Broad visited Nepal in 2019 and loved it. This greatly influenced her decision to move to Kathmandu and become part of Lincoln. “The kids, staff, and community are very welcoming,” she said. Julie worked in the USA for years, but always had a dream of teaching abroad. Before teaching at Lincoln, she worked for three years in Shanghai, China. She has five children and the last just graduated high school. “Recently, I learned that I enjoy living alone. It’s quite peaceful,” she said. Julie has a dream to join the Peace Corps one day, and her work in education mirrors that service-oriented mentality. Her children and granddaughter inspire her to continue her work in education. We welcome Julie to the Lincoln team.
