Visiting Author John Coy
Visiting author John Coy will be at Lincoln School on Monday and Tuesday 2/26 and 2/27!
The library is excited to welcome visiting author John Coy next week. Parents are welcome and encouraged to join us for either of his presentations in the Globe Theater. He will be doing an upper elementary school presentation at 8:10 am and a lower elementary school presentation at 9:05 am. Following the presentations, he will be visiting each ES grade level, conducting a writing workshop, and answering any questions students have.
The author of young adult novels, middle-grade books, and fiction and nonfiction picture books, Mr. Coy, is best known for Crackback, Hoop Genius: How a Desperate Teacher and a Rowdy Gym Class Invented Basketball, and Two Old Potatoes and Me. His most recent piece, Their Great Gift, is non-fiction picture book that explores the experiences of immigrants in the twenty-first century.
