Grade 2 News
We had an interesting week with the Bimstec conference begin held so close to the school. Grade 2 students handled the situation well. There were a few upset students at canceled ASA’s throughout the week, but on the whole, we managed. We all look forward to returning to our regular schedule this coming week.
This week the class really began to “feel” like a group of learners. There were several times this week in which the class was so engaged in their work that I felt bad having to bring an end to a learning session to go to a snack break or lunch.
We had our first fabulous Friday this week. In addition to great MCing by the 5th grade and a presentation by the first graders and Primary 1 students, we had a ventriloquist visit us and entertain us. She was fantastic! The students were really on the edge of their seat at the end when she made a picture she had drawn on a whiteboard talk and move its lips.
Important notices and/or reminders

- Wednesday, September 5th is our first early release day. Students are dismissed at 11:50.
- ASAs continue this week.
- Be sure to get your student’s lunch order completed online.
